ABB ACS380 Machinery Drive
ABB’s new ACS380 machinery drive is a compact VFD designed for machine building in the food and beverage, material handling and textile industries. The drive can be used in a variety of applications that require accurate speed and torque control, including mixers, centrifuges, conveyors and cranes.
The ACS380 consists of different EMC and connectivity variants with readily customized industrial fieldbus protocols (such as PROFIBUS DP, CANopen®, EtherCAT® and PROFINET IO). Therefore, ensuring seamless integration into automation systems. ACS380 drives also offer enhanced usability with the built-in icon based user interface and optional control panels.
The drive composer PC tool comes with extensive drive monitoring and process tuning capabilities. This includes adaptive programming for flexibility to meet different machinery requirements.
